Today is the 2nd day of London Fashion Week. To start off one fashionable week, DAKS presented their Spring/Summer 2012 collection. The show was a very good turn out for 9am on Saturday Morning. Sheila McKain-Waid eased us in with her debut collection as the new head of womenswear, with a sweet and summery season inspired by British coastal resorts in the Fifties

With the collection featuring a classic pallet of nuatrial, along with full-skirted silhouettes, deckchair stripes. However Bias-cut halter neck dresses were the stars of the show, coming in various incarnations, whether adorned with rope-print stripes or delicate, plisse pleated skirts. The collection also featured micro shorts with rain coats, which matches our classic British weather rain.

The collection was mapped out of retro glamour by the sea.
