Do you think Karl Lagerfeld ever takes a break from his stylish schedule? The answer is that his schedule gets busier. It’s middle of the week and Karl Lagerfeld has just launched a new fragrance. The fragrance is called Karleidoscope. Lagerfeld took a sentimental approach when creating his new fragrance.

Lagerfeld told WWD “A fragrance is not made to be explained by words. A mix of scent creates something we can smell but not describe.”

 The base of the fragrance is patchouli fraction orpur, benzion Laos orpur, Tonka bean and musk, and the heart ( a perfume must have a heart that should break), one of Lagerfeld’s favourite scents heliotrope, violet, and freesia. The scents bottle comes inside a Karleidoscope through which Lagerfeld’s famous silhouette can be viewed. Lagerfeld explained of his bottle design that “It is very simple idea but worked out in a refined, detailed way.  

The eau de perfume will come in 30 and 60ml sizes, and will be available exclusively in European Sephora Stores.
