Louis Vuitton SS12 collection

Today is the last day of the Spring/Summer 2012 collection calendar. The day started with Louis Vuiton Spring/Summer 2012 collection. There was a set off wonderland of pale.

The collection was crisp pastles. The models’ hair was held in soft chignons by sparkling bands, to go with the soft, Fifties-influenced femininity of their floating, gauzy overskirts. There was a feature of day time which was mixed with couture elements.

Dresses had puffed, full skirts and thick doily lace collars – macramé is confirmed as a trend as of this morning; drop waists too – and a little white dress. Icy whites and silver was injected with candy pinks, yellow and pale blue accented with touches of navy.

At the finale Kate Moss closed the show on a horse wearing white macramé shift that fell to a hemline of ostrich feathers. Its one collection.
