Fendi autumn and winter 2012 collection

Furry Fendi came to the runway today with raising an eye brow, over the idea of using so much fur. As we have seen fur has been making a big trend within the fashion houses for autumn and winter.

The Italian label designed by Karl Lagerfeld unrelieved a collection of pelts of fur that featured in almost every look. Themed as a tribal show, with models sharing a look of braided hair.
Camouflage of animal skin and fur came down the runway no hide was to spare at all, from head to toe. Two toned shearling wedges and a lot of fur.

From a personal point of view it was not my favourite show of the start to Milan’s fashion week, because there was too much fur going on and not enough of your usual autumn and winter garments. Also we have many other luxuries besides fur…

Even the accessories of handbags to Ipad cases were covered in fur. The show definitely showed that money was not an object.
However it has caused a raised eye brow of concern between the fashion crowds on the subject of PETA. After Fendi’s fur extravaganza.
