Alice Temperley has always been an inspiration to me. Ithink its because, Temperley has gone through so much over the past ten yearsof being a British designer. I have admired her skills and talents what Temperley has brought to her collections over the seasons and within the Temperley world.
  I’m pleased to announce that the iconic British brands John Lewis and Temperley London, has come together to create a new concept fashion brand ‘ Somerset by Alice Temperley’which is launching this September for autumn and winter 2012 season.

This will be Temperley's first ever collection for the UK
high street.

Somerset by Alice Temperley, is named after Temperley’s beloved home country in the south west of England.
The collection will arrive on the 4th September in 29 John Lewis stores and online with a second phrase dedicated to mainly to partywear which will launch in October.

   Somerset by Alice Temperley will be backed by a mulit-million pound adverting campaign fronted by one of the UK’smost celebrated models Lily Donaldson.

The 60 piece collection will include a full range of accessories, draws inspiration from established Temperley handwriting with accents including Victoriana, Bohemia, lace, military, embellishment, monochrome, and chiffon, animal print and leather. From pony skin slippers to wide snakeskin effect belts, studded nappa leather handbags to animal print scarves, beaded Indian evening gowns to sheer panelled two tone dresses . The collection will exhibit classic and much loved Temperley favourites.
