Bright and colourful Burberry moment. Image from my blog
Afternoon,
Burberry took to the runway with their spring and summer 2013 collection, starting off with a more spacey feel with the first look being an oversize seersucker caban with metallic knitted top collar.

Metallic’s continued to come down the runway within small details such as the metallic silk caban along with a Burberry tailoring of a seersucker suit, oversize nylon caban with metallic leather under collar. The metallic’s turned from little details on other garments to be a garment themselves which included a bright metallic shirt and houndstooth tailored trousers, along with twisting the Burberry classic trench into a metallic silk trench coat and a pair of sunglasses.

Bomber jackets were a statement accessory piece within the collection featuring in the material of nylon with a quilted lining and mohair trousers, or an oversized satin in a geometric diamond print. Finally for all certain weather type which suites Burberry is an opulent satin showerproof bomber and metallic cardigan. Bicolouring also made in the bomber jacket range featuring in metallic leather, or either have a contrast academy bomber.

Tailoring came into play within certain types of the garments which made a classic entrance into the spring and summer collection. Following in suites which were leaned tailored in a checked print, along with a caban in British linen tweed, from single to double breasted jackets had a peak of lapel suits. Mohair came into the tailored range of the collection featuring as a suit.

Finally to finish the Burberry spring and summer 2013 menswear final was colourful and bright, just like the sunshine... No umbrellas, flat caps, trenches, or rain to be seen.

To finish Christopher Bailey and the Burberry Boys.
