Just in: JW Anderson SS13

by - Sunday, June 17, 2012

An early morning to you readers, it’s the last day of the London Collections: Men’s. Sunday has started off with an early show schedule featuring our first show, J.W Anderson at the ICA.

The tailoring was loose, a-symmetric which gave the collection a more of masculine side as it featured the theme “All about the texture, textile and wet look hair” Mr. Porter quoted on his twitter handle.
The collection put a focus on fine knits, soft fabrics. A sporty influence came into the collection through micro fibres however the collection was still strong. Sheer fabrics with floral detail came down the runway, which showed a softer side the Saunders Man.

Colour Blocking and skin tight, stretch fabric trousers. A cuteness of playfulness came down the runway with Teddy Bear graphics which played along with Saunders Man’s themed collection.

Overall the collection was the art of the texture.
Right I'm off to rehearsals. Tomorrow is the start of the London Collection: Women
