Rise and shine readers,

Daks kicked off the 2nd day of Londonfashion week with their spring and summer 2013 collection, with the theme of floating and transparency. Daks first’s looks were kept clean, minimal which came in the pure of whiteness... However there was come small detailing which added a little structure to the looks. This came from oversized blocked coloured pockets and V necks.

Flared cropped trousers were played with floral strappy tops. The jackets were loosely unfastened, with the heritage checks detailing the coats and trenches. Feminity came into the collection with full length dressers whilst adding a sheet overlay on their classic print which came down the runway in a skirt.

Bronze playsuits were structured by a pair of cute shorts whilst keeping that theme of floating and transparency coming down the runway. Skirts became knee length whilst, skinny knits took over as cover-ups of jackets. Leather was played in a monochrome palette with waistcoats and skirts. Following the lines of the monochrome palette came floaty and transparency which came down the runway with different elements regarding low cut back dressers, jumpsuits.

Moving onto the models which had the perfect prim ponytail’s with a tomboyish feel with the side parting, it was simple but effect!

Overall the Daks collection was thoroughly British aesthetic for spring and summer 2013.
