Fresh and vibrant feel came into the air for one of my favourite shows of the, which was Jasper Conran spring and summer 2013 collection. The background of the show space was lit up in flowers of bright neon lights, amongst the blackness of audience. The catwalk however was made up of faux green grass…

The models came one by one with bare feet in exchange for footwear, whilst the collection gave out smocked dressers, leather jackets, whilst a shimmering moment came with the sequinned mini dressers. Suits were in block colours however it made a statement with pureness of whiteness which simply came, with tailored fitted blazers without a under layer and finished off with pair of low crotch trousers.

Prints were bold giving surface decorations onto mini denim skirts and jeans. However the denim came into the simple elements with a denim jackets which were left opened and finished off with a pair of denim shorts. Leather came into the denim hue which gave a more covered up look with jackets.

Lace was in the most simple colour palette which gave out a floaty element to the collection with the full length skirts, whilst the top half had V necks and fitted short sleeves. Dressers came in colour block which gave simple touch to the collection however, also sending a fresh vibe onto the runway.

The colour palette came in a mixture of white, navy blues, and greens whilst surrounded by a whole mixture of different colour palette to suit each garment.

“It started with Patti Smith and ended up in a trailer in the Midwest,” Conran told Vogue backstage. “It’s trailer trash! She lives in a caravan – but it’s a nice caravan.” What’s the secret to his success? “I love my job,” he explained. “Fashion is about moving on, plus I like a story that I can get my teeth into.”
