This morning to start the end to last day of Parisfashion week, (or spring and summer 2013 fashion month) Chanel brought the mood of the times into perspective; whilst a breezy wind was lining the runway.

Pollen wafted the girls as they came down the runway with that breezy wind, which was created bythe wind turbines. Chanel’s creations came with a fashion moment, in a monochromepalette of dressers and jackets. Whilst pearls were used for an oversized lookswhich came with every look afterwards. A sense of modernity came into thecollection with Lagerfeld creation of the white column dress.

Lagerfeld gave uscropped jackets which have been a trend around Parisfashion week. Their volume was played with their shoulders and cocoon shaped shapesand bell sleeves.

"It's more about the mood of the times, notsomething you have to translate," "It's all about the wind, it's inthe air," he gestured of the set. "I removed everything," hesaid - except for the pearls. Speaking of the collection’s initial ideasLagerfeld refered to memor  "Istarted sketching in Central Park and it was so hot that I wanted fresh air.”

Lagerfeld showed cool, calm, confident andcollected side to Chanel for spring and summer 2013.
