It’s the first day of Milan Menswear starting off with Dolce and Gabbana which created, an Italian charm for their autumn/winter 2013-14 collection featuring the surroundings of their classic rose covered chandeliers. The first looks became a spotlight of the classic black palette of coats and suits coming in velvet and cashmere.

Flowers were being to bloom at Dolce and Gabbana coming with a colourful presence on the runway flowing through blazers, silk t-shirts, and embroidered t-shirts the florals were blooming amongst the religious iconography and the collarless claret tuxes. A White colour palette came into the collection through the use of lace pillow-style embroidered and inlaid t-shirts. Whilst the use of a grey colour palette opted for coats, suits and vests. Overall the collection was based and inspired by a Sicilian-style whilst, being dedicated to devotion to tailoring, to cut, to fabrics and to details.

The finale featured the half of the gentlemen in t-shirts which were printed with religious icons whilst, the other half of the Sicilian men who walked in the show came down the runway wearing Dolce and Gabbana’s classic formal wear of suits.

It was an exceptional show!
