Jonathan Saunders AW13 menswear

by - Wednesday, January 09, 2013

"It's interesting for me to work in menswear, it's more item-lead and about designing in categories, it's more pared back and there's a consumer there," said Saunders, aptly surrounded by categories of colour and texture on rails spanning orange and maroon, cerulean and royal blue, lime green and ochre.
"I was more looking at outdoors fabrics and outerwear, saying the countryside sounds horrendous, but it's a play with traditional and natural fabrics and combining them with bounded finishing to give a technical feel," he said, pointing out the silhouettes to be non- referential but along the sporty lines." -Johnathan Saunders
