An eventful night: Bafta Awards 2013

It’s been an eventful week for the blog and myself due to the fact some of the content on the blog is set five hours behind due to the NYFW shows whilst, I type out the winners of the BAFTA’s which is showing now at 9:30pm (GTM) along with that the blog is showcasing live red carpet coverage of the Grammys too.




This year’s BAFTA awards were hosted at the Royal Opera House with its red carpet presenting the big names within the film industry amongst the big names in the fashion industry.

In attendance of dress Jennifer Lawrence wore a strapless Dior dress, Anna Hathaway wore a Burberry dress, Jennifer Garner wore a Roland Mouret dress, Sarah Jessica Parker came in a black Elie Saab jumpsuit, Chanel Couture drew a presence on the red carpet featuring on Elizabeth Olsen.  Vivienne Westwood also made the red carpet being worn on Andrea Risebrough, Helen Mirren wore a Nicholas Oakwell, whilst Thandie Newton wore a Louis Vuitton black lace gown, and Stella McCartney number came with Juno Temple.

As well as the featuring of the fashion industry’s biggest names featuring, on the red carpet here are the winners of tonight’s BAFTA awards 2013:

Best Film: Argo

Outstanding film: Skyfall

Leading Actor: Daniel Day- Lewis

Leading Actress: Emmanuelle Riva – Amour

Supporting Actor: Christoph Waltz - Django Unchained

Supporting Actress: Ann Hathaway
