Chanel Once Upon A Time & Cruise 2014 Collection

Well what a week it’s been. I do apologise now regarding the fact the blog is not being update regularly due to the fact I’ve been doing my last lot of exams. On the other hand Karl Lagerfeld has given us a Chanel Singapore Speculator Show!

Last week was the showcase of Chanel Cruise 2014 collection in Singapore a day after the showcasing of Lagerfeld’s new film “Once upon a time” which has been a successful hit within the industry and Chanelettes.

Chanel’s Cruise collection was surrounded by the themes of sport which featured through the use of cricket wear which include the bat and ball. Whilst some of the pieces came co-ordinated amongst, the dressers over wide trousers and the normal length skirts. Little playsuits and pleated silk dressers gave a touch of femininity into the collection as the likes of Cara Delevingne, Lindsey Wixson and Joan Smalls took to the runway.  There was a touch of a holiday spirit given that the colour palettes of the garments moved away from Chanel’s autumn/winter 2013 dark moody colour palette amongst, the use of loose shaping to a soften silhouette of the Chanel women.
Overall it was a sophisticated and full of Classic Chanel references.
