Alexander McQueen spring/summer 2014 menswear collection paid a tribute to the sharp smart yet modern tailoring has our own gentlemen of our year is willing,  to invest in and be proud of the suit he wears from the boardroom to formal occasion.

Sarah Burton showcased the summed up answer to what type of tailoring the man of year expects regarding any situation or occasion. The garments were adored by the detailing of gold buttons whilst, the lapels of jackets were frayed and sleeves were ripped away.  Frock coats were printed in fine lace paired with cropped trousers (perfect for the rain when it adds to the typical British Summer weather).

From the cropped trousers came the long shorts and the perfect cover up done by cardigans and the overcoats whilst, the collections chosen colour palette was a monochrome one. The perfect assembles for the perfect modern tailoring came from the collarless bid shirts, double and single breasted jackets which were adored by very colourful floral print. This floral print also made a feature of one whole suit set.  Overall the looks came layered however having the right balance of modern tailoring the man of year is looking for.

It was a very refreshing very well done tribute towards modern tailoring.
