by - Thursday, June 27, 2013

Well we’re onto the last leg of the menswear fashion month from London, Milan, and now onto Paris ahead of the autumn/winter 2013-14 couture shows. Well Valentino kicked off the Paris schedule of the spring/summer 2014 season.

Coming in a blue hue Valentino gentlemen made sure he made the made to measure suited and booted look with the work of patchwork suits which has seem to be a big trend for next season. The collection expressed this trend within its suiting and tailoring from single to breasted jackets within, different shades of light to dark blues featuring in the blazers. As well as the blue hue the suits also came in the coloured blocked grey palette too.

Shirts and overcoats whilst, knee length shorts made their debut on the runway making the collection little a bit lighter to contrast with the heavy hearted tailoring from the suits featured. In amongst the casual effect of the white tees there was a dark palette from the leather jackets and the sweaters which featured the detailing of a black leather pocket.

There was a feature of the camouflage within the collection from the trousers, sweaters, and coats. Whilst a hue of camel coloured blocked suits to trousers made a feature within a main block of the collection during its showcase all at the same time.

Florals prints also made their debut too from the trousers in royal red and blue which these looks were finished off with white tees we saw beforehand. From the clothing to the accessories which made up of sneakers, loafers, and finally the smart yet cool sunglasses.

Overall it was all in what the fashion crowd expected from Valentino Gentlemen for next spring/summer.
