London Fashion Week The Shop re-opens for the Autumn/Winter 2014 season!

Last season the British Fashion Council announced its launch date of its first shop which was held at Somerset House during London Fashion Week and London Fashion Weekend amongst being open to the public.

   The shop at Somerset House was opened rom 13th to 22nd September 2013 (19th-22nd September Access to the shop will be only for London Fashion Weekend ticketholders) featuring a careful selected edit of designer garments from the likes of Sophia Webster, House of Holland, Markus Lupfer, Bella Freud, Prism, Dominic Jones, Zoe Jordan and Lulu & Co. 

"The Shop at London Fashion Week will be the first of its kind and will present capsule collections from eight of the biggest names in British contemporary design," said BFC CEO Caroline Rush. "With the creative conceived by one of the world's most renowned British artists and the space crafted by one of the most exciting names at the helm of set design, this project celebrates UK-based talent from varying disciplines, bringing it together in a living, breathing space."

For the autumn and winter 204-15 season the shop is set to return opening from tomorrow filled with spring/summer 2014 goodies to be had. 11 British designers including Vivienne Westwood and Katherine Hamnett have designed installations that will be on display from Friday 14th until the shop closes on 23rd Feb, when they will be auctioned. At the same time being you’ll be in the centre of the fashion crowd since this will be placed in the in the West Wing of the ground floor of Somerset House.
