You’ve seen what the British Fashion Council chairman Natalie Massenet has to say in her Letter to London regarding, how to get involved in the main to do list throughout London Fashion Week in part one of the blog’s series. The girl’s at Phase Eight yesterday continued the series with their fourfashionable to do list. Today is about me highlighting the events which arehappening on Oxford Street ahead of LFW and one important event during LFW youcannot miss!

I’m very happy and proud to announce that Clerkenwell Vintage Fashion Fair is celebrating, the most fashionable event in town with the innovation of The Vintage Collections. This exciting event is returning to the Old Finsbury Town Hall on the 15th September from 11am – 5pm. playing host to the leading vintage vendors of fashion, accessories and style collectibles, this is an event not to be missed for members of the style cognoscenti and is also a fun day out for the amateur fashionista.

The Vintage Collections event which is happening during LFW will showcase key iconic looks from different eras to illustrate the enduring allure of vintage fashion. Come and shop for pieces that don’t merely reference an era but are actually part of it. From Princess Coats to Worsted Wool Suits, there is a special something to add the necessary dose of originality to any wardrobe.

During your time at the Vintage fashion fair you might get that experience of seeing some of the fashion industries editors, bloggers, to leading figures. Keep an eye out!

As well as The Vintage Collections innovation featuring in the Clerkenwell Vintage Fashion Fair there is a lot going on at the fair this month. Their tea room will be open with the entertainment of jazz chanteuses and of course they will be serving up, their delicious tea and award winning cakes to revive weary shoppers.  Returning once more is the ever popular Kirstie Robinson, the Queen of Alterations. With a background in London's West End theatre and men's tailoring, she will make you feel like a million dollars in a frock that fits like a glove!

If that’s not enough Style Icon Natalie Robinson; noted celebrity personal stylist, joins in the fun of the fair with a 'Vintage Personal Shopping Experience' 15 minute consultations to  identify your body shape and find the perfect vintage attire to suit you. Plus you can book a further 15 minutes with, Natalie browsing the fair for key vintage looks to suit your budget & style. £25 or £20 for advance bookings.

Join in the festivities and pick up something fabulous. Entry remains £4 with NUS Concessions £2.
