London Collections: Men Topman Design AW14

The Topman is all set for the great British weather of rain... Umbrella up Gentlemen...
Yet the Topman design autumn and winter 2014 did not exactly do that. Instead the boys came armed with outwear full of duffle coats and pea coats all with that mannish oversized shaping.

The vision with the shaping did not stop there for the oversized partly due to the trousers being wide-legged.
Moving from that oversized mannish conception came the tailored Topman. Dapper cropped double breasted pea coats to blazers from the suits. Through this phase of shaping came from the PVC used on half, pockets, to the centre panelling of the garments whilst knitwear was roll-neck sweaters.

Throughout the show the atmosphere was moody within the palette of Kahi, grey, and black whilst, the other half of the collection came with the juxtaposition of sunshine and clear skies through the palette of orange, red, and blue. Overall it was a very strong collection.
