Monday evening brought a new spectrum into place in terms of the season as the weather turns chiller and we’re finally in November the festive seasonal countdown has started.
Burberry started off the festive countdown in style and tradition of course the heritage trench coat, cashmere scarf, and the classic pieces of evening wear from the houses womenswear and menswear collections. All surrounded by emerging and new talent right across its first festive advertisement for this year at the launch party at Burberry flagship store in London.

Highlighting the spotlight of talent in British brand’s festive advertisement is Romeo Beckham whom has featured in Burberry’s last year’s spring/summer collection campaign. The brand’s festive advertisement campaign ‘From London with Love’ features Romeo wearing the classic heritage trench and scarf alongside a tux later in the short film whilst, playing the main character of a young people who delivering the gift of love to a young couple, played by new British models and dancers Hannah Dodds and Anders Hayward, and aims to celebrate gifting as the ultimate symbol of a connection between people.

The surrounding of talent couldn’t get any bigger for any brands first festive advertisement campaign with Burberry having invested in a cast arrange of talented dancers whilst having new fresh faces of the likes of Hannah Dodds and Anders Hayward as the other models featuring in the film. In terms of the music featured in the short film the track was written and recorded by British musician Ed Harcourt, at Abbey Road Studios, and is available for pre-order on iTunes from today, ahead of its official release in December. It’s not the first time Burberry has used fresh talent because, they are well known for supporting up-and-coming musicians and the likes of Paloma Faith and Tom Odell have performed live sets at previous catwalk shows.

Burberry collectively captures this emerging and new talent throughout its first festive advertisement campaign in the best creative and personalised set yet,  with the short film been captured on the George Lucas stage at Elstree Studios in London with the dancers chorography done by Lynne Page.
I think it’s fair to its time to start thinking about your Christmas list…
