Finding that Summer Stylish Outfit for Weddings with Me & Farfetch

by - Tuesday, August 30, 2016

Come June and onwards through the summer months. It's all about creating that capsule warobe to create one stylish summer outfit. What do you wear to the races, tennis and polo matches or even saying at the moment of saying ‘I do’?

Here’s a little inspiration for you to be the guest which stands out for all the right reason.

When it comes to weddings I am one who loves to go all out on the hair, makeup, and the outfit elegantly without upstaging the bride. For my cousin's wedding happening 3rd September, I went all out on one of my favourite colours. Navy. It’s such a versatile colour which goes chic with a white shirt, applique tops to stripes for that Parisian look.

I really suit navy since; I am a brunette with a pale skin tone which personally makes the base of my idea of what colour of clothes I wear. By doing so I am comfortable when wearing anything. (That’s my little secret which keeps my closet in the capsule mode).

I find it makes you more comfortable!

Although I do sometimes go out of my comfort zone of a colour palette.

1. Warehouse Applique Lace Midi Dress
2. Tessa Satin Clutch Bag
3. Brocade Point Court Shoes
From one tip I’ve picked up from finding my outfit is that you should find one main block of colour which you like, your favourite, or suits you. Once finding that out it's easier to find the colours which compliment the chosen block of colour for the dress. Using the tip of using the complimentary colours to your dress will make it easier when selecting the type of shoes, other accessories, and you're make up look. Shopping will become stress-free too!

If you follow this tip when shopping for your outfit. You will have an outfit you can wear to other special occasions after the wedding instead of it being labelled ‘Once worn dress’.
